Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern all bookings, tours, transfers, and related services provided by Vashu Cape Tours ("the Company", "we", "our", or "us"). By making a booking, the client ("you" or "your") agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

2. Bookings

2.1 All bookings are subject to availability.

2.2 A booking is only confirmed once payment or deposit has been received and written confirmation has been issued.

2.3 Clients are responsible for providing accurate and complete booking information.

3. Payments

3.1 A deposit may be required to secure a booking.

3.2 Full payment must be made prior to the tour date as communicated at the time of booking.

3.3 Prices are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR) and may be subject to change due to external factors beyond our control.

4. Cancellation and Refunds (Bookings)

4.1 All bookings made through booking agents, travel agencies, online platforms, or affiliates are subject to the terms and conditions of that respective provider.

4.2 The booking agent or third-party platform is solely responsible for handling all cancellations, amendments, and refund requests.

4.3 Vashu Cape Tours does not process, manage, or accept cancellation or refund requests for bookings made through third-party agents.

4.4 Clients must direct all cancellation and refund requests to the original booking agent or platform through which the booking was made.

4.5 Vashu Cape Tours shall not be held liable for any refunds, partial refunds, or disputes arising from third-party bookings.

4.6 Any applicable refunds will be issued by the booking agent in accordance with their own policies and procedures.

4.7 By confirming a booking through a third-party provider, you acknowledge and agree that Vashu Cape Tours bears no responsibility for cancellations or refunds related to such bookings.

5. Changes to Bookings

5.1 All amendment requests must be submitted in writing.

5.2 Changes are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

5.3 We reserve the right to adjust itineraries due to operational or safety requirements.

6. Tour Participation

6.1 Clients must be ready at the agreed pickup time and location.

6.2 Late arrivals may result in reduced tour time without refund.

6.3 We reserve the right to refuse service to any person who is disruptive, intoxicated, or poses a safety risk.

7. Health and Safety

7.1 Clients are responsible for ensuring they are fit to participate in the tour.

7.2 Any medical conditions must be disclosed prior to the tour.

8. Liability

8.1 Participation in tours is at the client’s own risk.

8.2 Vashu Cape Tours is not liable for:

• Injury, illness, or loss of life

• Loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings

• Delays caused by external factors beyond our control

8.3 Liability is limited to the amount paid for the tour (where applicable and permitted by law).

9. Personal Belongings

Clients are responsible for their own personal items at all times.

10. Travel Insurance

Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended.

11. Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or cancellations caused by events beyond our control, including weather, government restrictions, or emergencies.

12. Photography

Photos and videos may be taken for marketing purposes unless the client opts out in writing.

13. Privacy

We comply with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) and handle personal data responsibly.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

15. Acceptance

By making a booking, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
